We stayed at a great little hostel in the beautiful neighborhood of San Blas at the end of the street. the beds were warm and comfortable, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They even looked after our stuff while we visited Machu Picchu. the location was perfect, close to the main square and with great restaurants nearby. the hostel also had weekly activities like BBQs and free Spanish lessons. Definitely made our Peru experience even more enjoyable.
The common area was a bit cold, but it didn't affect our overall stay.

This hostel totally exceeded my expectations! The location was super convenient, just a short walk to the main square. The uphill climb was totally worth it for the amazing views from the room. I loved the heater in the room, it kept me nice and cozy on cold nights. The host was incredibly friendly and gave us awesome tips for exploring the city, even though his English wasn't perfect. And let's not forget the coca tea, a total game-changer for adjusting to the altitude. The building itself had so much charm, it really gave off an authentic South American vibe. I also appreciated the free coffee and tea, perfect for a pick-me-up throughout the day. The staff went above and beyond, arranging early taxis and even providing breakfast at the crack of dawn. my stay here was mind-blowing and I can't wait to come back!

The Courtyard: Set in a picturesque Colonial-style house with a central courtyard, this inn became a lively hub where guests from different corners of the world mingled, exchanged travel stories, and even formed a makeshift soccer team to play against the staff.
Street Noise: Due to its central location overlooking a charming street, there was some noise at night. But honestly, it was more like the soothing sound of distant waves lulling us to sleep rather than any bothersome disturbance.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed, making me feel right at home. The rooms were clean and spacious, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. The breakfast spread was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from. And the location couldn't have been better - close to all the main attractions and in a quiet part of the city. I had an amazing experience at Posada Catama Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco.
